Merlin R. Foresman, 64, died Monday, July 26, 2010, at Stanton County Hospital in Johnson City.
He was born June 10, 1946, in Garden City, to Robert E. and Helen J. Bangs Foresman.
A lifelong resident of Stanton County, Mr. Foresman was a farmer.
On Aug. 10, 1968, he married Nancy Delgado in Dodge City. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Kris Foresman of Johnson City; two daughters, Christina Strate of Kinsley, and Misty Bear of Delaware, Ohio; his father, of Ulysses; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Sue Foresman, and his mother.
Graveside services were at Ulysses Cemetery
