First duty assignment as a PN aboard the minesweeper USS Implicit and PAC12 voyage to Viet Nam for 10.5 months. The assigned to the USS Ticonderoga for a 10 month voyage to Viet Nam. Lastly, served at the Navy REHAB center in Miramar San Diego.

Stationed at Treasure Island situated in between San Francisco and Oakland, Ca. He spent his 4 years there and stated he loved every minute of it.
He was abit shorter than the requirement for the Marines so he put an extra sock in the heel of his shoes and yahoo, he hit the mark. Bob as he was known by passed away from heart disease and cancer in 1991. He shall always be in my heart. Cherie Nalder Peterson

Our Stadium High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Stadium High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
