i was an artillery officer and an Army Aviator. Spent 3 years in Germany in the early 60s, 2 years in Vietnam flying helicopters in the mid 60s, 3 years in the US Embassy in Vientiane Laos in the early 70s, and 3 years in ground and aircraft weapons development in the mid 70s.

One of the proudest moment in my life was when that Gold Bar was pinned on my collar. Retired as a Lt Colonel. Benn all over the world but my top 3 tours, from first to last were, U.S Embassy in Athens, Greece; SHAPE Headquarters (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe) in Casteau, Belgium; and NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) on Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs. If I was young and had to start over, I would do it again in a heartbeat.
