SLP alum featured in Broadway musical premiere

Kim Kivens, a 1991 graduate of St. Louis Park High School, is featured in the area premiere of a Broadway musical which opens on June 10th in downtown Minneapolis.

The area premiere of the musical comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will be performed by the Minneapolis Musical Theatre from June 10 - 26. Performances take place at the Illusion Theater, 528 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis.

Kim Kivens plays the role of Muriel Eubanks, an innocent who is ensnared in the antics of two hapless, but charming, con men who cause a stir among tourists in the French Riviera. The show includes comical schemes, double crosses, robust music and dancing.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels marks Kivens' fourth role in a Minneapolis Musical Theatre production. Now a resident of Savage, MN, Kivens has appeared with numerous Twin Cities theater companies.
