About Me	Went to KU where I received undergraduate and law degrees in '79 and '83. From 1984 to 1987 I worked for a small law firm in Frankfurt, West Germany where I defended US service members in military court across western Europe. I returned to the US in 1987 and began work as a public defender at the state appellate level. I have worked for that agency since, but in 1997 also started working at the University of Kansas School of Law where I teach and supervise students in a legal clinic.
