About	MSgt Robert "Bob" Woods, 48, of Belmont, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 21, 2024 at home. Bob was born in St. Clairsville, Ohio a son of the late William "Bill" J. & Rita Marie (Sabinski) Woods. He was a 1994 graduate of St. Clairsville High School. Bob was proud to serve in the United States Air Force from March 1, 1995 until April 30, 2015. Bob retired from the Air Force as a MSgt after serving 20 years. He was deployed four times. In 2000, to Incirlik AB, Turkey for Operation Northern Watch. In 2003, he was deployed again to Turkey for Operation Northern Watch/Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2005, he was deployed to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, for Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2010, to Camp Victory Baghdad for Operation New Dawn. For his dedicated and exemplary service, Bob received the following medals and awards: Air Force Commendation Medal with two Oak Leaf Clovers; Air Force Achievement Medal with five Oak Leaf Clovers; Army Achievement Medal; Meritorious Unit with two Oak Leaf Clusters; National Defense Service Medal with one Bronze Star; Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Korean Defense Medal; and Humanitarian Service Medal. Bob's last employment was with Westlake (previously PPG Industries) in New Martinsville, West Virginia. He was a Catholic by faith. Bob was also a member of the St. Clairsville Moose Lodge 2504 and was a skilled and proud Eagle Scout. His favorite past times included shooting guns with his dad, and riding his Harley Davidson with brothers and friends. He enjoyed long weekend bike trips to hang out with his brothers, and especially loved spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their fur babies, Marley and Milo. He is sadly missed by his loving wife of 16 years, Jennifer (Sheets) Woods; brothers, William "Bill" (Dawn) Woods II of Groveport, Ohio, Sean Michael (Kyle Marie) Woods of Green, Ohio, sister by heart, Tricia Kyer; several nieces and nephews; a host of friends and family. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a Moose Lodge 69590 Provident Rd, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950 on July 13th from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. All are welcome to attend.
