Paul J. Pfeifer(1942 - 2015)
Born: Nov. 7, 1942; New Hampton, IA
Died: May 4, 2015; Albuquerque, NM
Paul John Pfeifer, retired and moved to New Mexico in 2002. Built a beautiful house bordering the Gila Wilderness and for 10 years lived the life of his dreams. Hunting and exploring the wilderness area with his GPS, trail camera, and accompanied many times by his brother Jim. Paul enjoyed motorcycle racing and riding, Karate and Scuba Diving. He was one of those unique people who knew the things that he wanted to do in life and did them. The Lord called him home on May 4, 2015, after a long 4 year struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
Paul is survived by his wife, Jean of 16 years; two sisters, Pat Driessen of St. Charles and Mary (Norman) Arnold of St. Charles; three brothers, Jack (Clare) Pfeifer of Brookfield, WI, Jim Pfeifer of New Mexico, and Joe (Cheryl) Pfeifer of Cortland. Also several nieces and nephews and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Nancy Pfeifer - Sister Pauline O'Carm, Elleanor Keen, and an infant sister Pauline. Also two brothers, William and Tom Pfeifer.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2015, at the Presbyterian Church in Reseve, NM.
