Favorite School Memory	I don't think I have a favorite -- but we sure had lots of fun! MelMax would say eating choc chip cream cheese cupcakes in the locker room!!
About Me	In 1990, I was asked to substitute for 6 weeks at a childcare center in Rock Island -- never left! I've been a Director at the facility, now owned by my brother and sister-in-law, but decided to return to teaching. I also Mentor other centers, and train for a Non-Violence Curriculum. I do a lot of advocacy for families living with ADHD (all my boys have ADHD) including facilitating a family group with one of my co-workers. I also do advocacy / education against the Choking Game after losing my 15 yr old nephew in August of 2007. This past year I also started my own business as an Independent Distributor for Premier Designs Jewelry. I still love softball, but since I have boys--I've had to switch to baseball! It took a while for the boys to get over "the girl on the field" ha ha My oldest son (17) pitches for Rock Island High School, my youngest (12), is into Chemistry/ Sciences.
