After Boot Camp, I was stationed in California at Camp Pendleton where I deployed with 1st Marine Division in 2010-2011 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After returning, I was assigned to Weapons and Field Training Battalion, Edson Range where I am the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense Chief responsible for ensuring Marine Corps recruits have a basic understanding of CBRN defense and the use of personal protective equipment.
