South Louisiana Bank Spirit Da
Calling all Million Dollar Band from Gator Land Alumni
Do you remember being at a marching festival, standing at perfect attention with sweat dripping in your eyes,
and what felt like 10 minutes later you heard what sounded like the “voice of god†saying…..
“ The Million Dollar Band from Gator Land!â€â€¦..and the crowd roared!!!
Wow, what a feeling!
If this statement brings you back to that moment, then read on.
Here at South Louisiana bank on Sept. 25th 2009 we will have our annual Spirit Day.
This is a bunch of grownups battling it out like a bunch of high school seniors proving their high school is the best!!
This is not an easy task, because these folks mean business!
You have never seen adults get this hipped up about their alma mater.
Typically, high schools allow their football players, cheerleader, dance team and band to come here to our main branch to rock the house!
The South Terrebonne High School band cannot attend this year!!
We are inviting you to fill in for them!
In order to surprise the other teams, this must be kept a secret even if you are BFFs with the enemy.
Also, if you know anyone who may be interested please pass this along.
Thanks in advance for your time!!! We can’t wait to meet you or see you again, whatever the case may be.
Act now.. It will be a blast, I promise!

ATTENTION SOUTH TERREBONNE GRA
Things have changed quite a bit since we attended STHS. Gone are the days when our Athletics and Extracurricular activities we funded completely by the School Board. Money allocated to sports, dance teams, academic competitions and travel has decreased while costs have increased. The reality is parents and supporters are asked to do more and more.
To help offset some of these expenses we are organizing the first annual South Terrebonne High School Gator Club / Athletics Golf Tournament Fundraiser. The date is June 7th @ Sugarland Golf Club in Raceland. The board is trying to get information out to all former students who are interested in participating in some way.
In addition to the golf tournament itself, there will be opportunities for non – golfing alumni to socialize and have some fun.
The flier for the golf tournament is being prepared which will detail sponsorship opportunities. In general they are as follows:
Platinum Sponsor - $1000.00
Gold Sponsor - $ 500.00
Silver Sponsor - $ 250.00
Team for Golf Tournament $ 500.00
Individual Player $125.00
Hole Sponsor $ 200.00
We hope that former Gators who have done well in business or are otherwise able to contribute will. All donations will be accepted (Cash, In – Kind, Door Prizes, etc…).
If you are able to help, please contact Brad Bonvillain through his email (aapbrad@bellsouth.net) or his office is 851-2390
To help fellow STHS student
Linsey Rogers needs as many people to donate blood as they can. O- is preferably needed, but anyone can donate and a credit will go to her account. If you don't know she was in a car accident. Plz.
