Sharon graduated from South Portland High School in 1966 and went on to graduate from Westbrook College in 1968. In 1969, she married Jeffrey Brasier, also a SPHS Alumni. They had two children and continued to live in South Portland.
Sharon worked at Maine Medical Center, American Personnel and Deering Ice Cream, before accepting a position as the Office Manager at South Portland High School.
She was an active member at St. Albans Episcopal Church in Cape Elizabeth. As a dedicated mother, she became a swim mom, where she cheered her children on during every single race. She also worked behind the scenes as a member of the South Portland Swimming and Diving Booster Club.
Sharon was a fighter and fought the good fight for the last eighteen years of her life, refusing to let her illness (Alpha 1 Anti-Trypsin Deficiency) get the better of her. She passed away much too soon, but the dignity and grace with which she carried herself will always be remembered.....Sharon was a beautiful person!
