About Me	After high school, I enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Was there for two years, made great friends but felt restless and in need of something else. Bounced around quite a bit; a few years at UW-Stevens point, UW-Marinette, even back to SM for awhile. Finally landed at University of Minnesota where I graduated with a BA majoring in Fine Art and English. I met my husband, Chris, in the Electrical Engineering Department, where he was studying for his Master’s and I was finishing up my degree while working full-time. Job highlights for me were costumer/stage manager/actor at Theatre on the Bay in Marinette, WI; editor at Communication Resources/Agricultural Extension service, St. Paul, MN; self-employed desktop publisher; Marketing Director at Just For Me Spa in Stillwater, MN. For several years I created hand-blown glass pieces I sold in a gallery in Stillwater. Family highlights are my husband, married for 37 years; our two great sons, ages 34 and 35; our grandson born in 2021; our granddaughter born in 2023; and many dogs and cats over the years. Travel includes visits to over 30 states; ski trips with our kids and their gals (not me—I hang back at the condo watching movies and baking!); living in Sweden for one year as part of Chris’ work with 3M; travel to Venezuela, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Canary Islands, Ireland, England, Canada and Mexico.
