The Reunion will be on Friday October 23rd and Saturday October 24th. We will attend the Homecoming Game (South vs Fort Hill) on Friday with a tail gate party before the game and possible meeting place after the game.
Reunion Sat Nite:
We will be meeting at the Legion at 6pm for a Cocktail Hour and Dinner will be at 7:30pm. A DJ will be playing 70's and 80's Music. We will have the Hall until 11pm. The Cost of the Reunion will be $25 per person, and a separate Cash Bar. The meal will be a buffet style with Broasted Chicken, Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Veggies, Salad, Rolls and a Cake. Teacher's are also being invited to attend. Classmates must RSVP by October 1, 2015 otherwise it will increase to $30.00 per person and at the door the night of the Reunion.
We are planning a tribute table for Classmates that have passed away.

To 1979 South Hagerstown High School Graduates -
The old cliche of time flying is starting to wear on me a bit. Especially as we passed the 35th anniversary of our graduation in 1979 this year! Where does the time go? To celebrate this particular milestone, your Reunion Committee decided to set up a table at this year's Homecoming festivities at South scheduled for Friday, October 10. The traditional Homecoming football game will be held that evening at South, and as has been done in recent years, a tailgating section is being planned for any and all graduating classes that wish to participate. We thought this an easy way to gather our grads who want to participate in Homecoming and reconnect for our 35th anniversary. Areas will be available on a first come, first served basis, and we will begin to gather about 4:15 that afternoon to set up. The Class will provide fried chicken, and we ask that any planning to attend bring a side dish, or whatever you might like to graze on during our time together. NO alcohol since this function will occur on school grounds - sorry!
We also thought that if anyone wishes to visit and reminisce after the game, we would relocate across the street from School Stadium to Rik's Cafe. A nice place with food AND a bar, and this will be open to anyone caring to join in. Please do RSVP to Robin (Miller) Twigg or myself if you plan on attending our tailgate so we have some idea of how much chicken to purchase. Thanks and we look forward to seeing our 1979 grads at Homecoming this year!

SHHS Class of 1959 will hold a 70th Birthday Picnic, Funkstown Park, 12 Noon. Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Steamers, Soft Drinks will be provided by committee. Everyone will bring a covered dish to share. A 70th Birthday Cake - will be provided.
