Carol and I met in 1972 at Spencer Butte Junior High. We became fast friends, and our friendship lasted up to the day she died. Carol was a very talented woman. She learned to sew around the age of five. She developed a love of photography in Jr. High School, and it became her lifetime hobby. After her divorce, she became a single parent and was one of the best single mothers I have ever known. Her children's needs always came before her own. She had three grandsons from her daughter Sarah and several other grandchildren from her later marriage to Gary Still, who passed away only months before her. I can't say enough about my friend. I miss her deeply.
