Attained the rank of SSG/E-6. Served with Field Artillery units at Ft. Benning Ga. , Camp Stanley South Korea, Ft Ord Ca. , and Baumholder Germany. Also served with Combat Developement Experimentation Command for 4 1/2 years at Ft. Ord Ca. , doing research and testing for the Army and Dept. of Defense , during which time we set-up the National Training Center at Ft Irwin Ca.

Enlisted in 1982 and served as an Avionics Tech on OV-10D aircraft at Camp Pendleton CA and Okinawa Japan. Commissioned in 1988 as a Signals Intelligence Officer. Served in Okinawa, Scotland, Virginia, North Carolina, and Rhode Island as Aide-de-camp, Program Manager, Company Commander, Operations Officer and Regional Analysis Division Officer. Retired as a Major after over 21 years to start a family.

Over 2,700 flying hours on the E-3 AWACS aircraft, flew in counter-narcotic and joint staff directed operations to include SOUTHERN WATCH, NORTHERN WATCH, PROVIDE COMFORT, ENDURING FREEDOM, and enforcing the ceasefire armistice on the Korean Peninsula.
