Leslie R. Milford, 49, resident of Skaneateles for 18 years and technical consultant of the Solvay Process Company, died last Friday afternoon after an illness of 2 years. He was the son of Charles L. Milford & Mrs Sylvia Chapman MIlford and was born in Skaneateles, January 13, 1885, where he attended school and made his home.
Mr Milford is survived by his widow, who was Mrs Margarita Riggs of Albany, prior to their marriage in 1915; his son, Charles Riggs Milford; his parents; 4 brothers, G. Roscoe, and Ivan L., both of Red Bluff, California, Earl R., and Charles R., Jr., both of Skaneateles; 2 sisters, Mrs Clarence Weeks and Mrs Ernest C. Brice of Skaneateles.
The funeral was held from the home to St.James Church, wre Rev Henry Scott Miller, Rector officiated, assisted Rev Arthur B. Merriman, Rector of the Church of the Saviour, Syracuse, formally of Skaneateles.
