Richard P. Trabold Resident of Antioch Richard Paul Trabold, 66, died Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009, surrounded by his family at his residence. Richard was born in Rochester, New York, and grew up in Skaneateles where graduated from Skaneateles Central School. He moved to California in 1964 to aid in the construction and management of Stauffer Chemical. He held that position for over thirty years. Surviving Richard is his wife Mary Ann of 48 years; son Richard Todd Trabold of Antioch, CA; and daughters Terri Lynds of Antioch, CA, and Jennifer Cortese of Laurel, Montana. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren. Caring for animals was Richard's lifelong passion. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ARF, Animal Rescue Foundation, 5001 Diablo Drive, Concord, CA 94520. Contributions can also be made to Sutter VNA & Hospice, 1900 Bates Ave., Suite A, Concord, CA 94520. A private memorial mass was held by his family and close friends at Holy Rosary Church.
