MULLIGAN, CHARLES R., JR. "Chuck" (Age 52): On February 3, 2004, of a heart attack. He leaves behind his best friend, his woman and his wife, whom he called "The Lovely Miss Cherie". He also leaves behind four boys whom he loved very much, Ricky, Keith, Jason and Jesse. He is survived by two sisters, Terry Mulligan and Kristie Welch; a cousin, Billy Mulligan; two nieces, one nephew and other relatives. Chuck grew up in Norbeck, Maryland and graduated Sherwood High School in 1969. He won the State Wrestling Championship in 1968 and received awards for 1st Team All County in Football. He played drums in the Daytrippers. He attended Morgan State College for one year where he was known as the "Polar Bear" on the football team and played in the Astrodome. He worked strong and hard as a drywall hangar, he made people laugh and he never put on any pretenses. A memorial service will be held at the Arlington Funeral Home, 3901 N. Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA, on Saturday, February 21, 2004 from 1 to 3 p.m. Funeral Home
