ROBERT E. ELLISON, JR. (June 3, 1951 i Wash., DC - Jan. 23, 2012 Staunton, VA) - Rob Ellison, 60, husband of Lynne (Conner) Ellison died Monday, January 23, 2012, at his residence. He was born June 3, 1951, in Washington, DC a son of Harriet J. (Dahl) Ellison of Culpepper and the late Robert E. Ellison, Sr. Mr. Ellison was employed as a Senior Network Administrator by Health Services Foundation, University of Virginia. He was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife and mother, family members include three sons, Kurt A. Ellison of Bethesda, MD Charles Gordon Ellison and Carl Robert Ellison, both of Staunton; a brother, Glenn Ellison, of North Beach, MD; four sisters, Karen Kelliher of Fairfax, Gayle Petonic of Woodstock, GA, Janet McDonnell and Diane Ray, both of Culpepper; and his dog, Rufus. A Celebration of the Life of Rob will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Henry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at his residence.
