Lee Allan Van Dyke passed away from pancreatic cancer on September 26, 2017. He was born on February 2, 1951. He used the short six weeks after his diagnosis to say goodbye in the most beautiful way to his wife, Jackye; his children, Michelle, Brett, and Megan; and his seven grandchildren, Tyler, Nicholas, Joshawa, Kole, Abigail, Bradley, Jr., and Corbin; his sisters Ruth and Ruby; his brother Earl, and all his nephews and family. As the weeks went on, he loved the many visitors, his nephews, his sister and brother-in-law, friends, and neighbors. His family would never have been able to get through without the help of incredible neighbors and close friends. A memorial is being planned for Lee on Sunday, September 10 at Tommy Joe’s Restaurant on Kentlands Boulevard in Gaithersburg from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
