About Me	After graduating in Economics I worked for the International Unit of the Ministry of Planning in Brazil, where I met my husband. He was then Division Chief responsible for the lending program of the World Bank to Brazil . After we got married I came to Washington, took care of our daughter, finished my MA in Economics and joined the Inter- American Development Bank (IADB), where I worked for 25 years. My work involved coordinating the lending program of IADB to Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, and gave me a chance to reconnect with several international friends I made while in Kansas.
