| About Me | Elected to go to SM South vs. SM West and glad I did. Always interested in medical field and have had jobs at Cerner, American Heart Association, United Way and DeVry. Have been Health Care Advocate, Medical Social Worker, Patient Advocate, Medical IT Support and Technical Writer. Love helping and empowering people! My one legacy is I started an annual event called Touchdown Family Fest and worked with Team Smile, United Way and Heart to Heart International to provide services annually. The Chiefs, Chiefettes and KC Wolf entertain kids that are bussed in for the day so that they can get full dental over what they would qualify for with Medicaid. I’m proud to say it was my idea to initiate and collaborate on this event. Oh, yeah. I also owned and operated a Sober Living House and housed ex-offenders who were ordered by the court to not drink.
