About Me	I was a teacher in the North Kansas City District, at Gracemor Elementary School for 27 years, teaching mostly 4th Grade. I then moved to the private Brookridge Day School, where I worked in the office, and the library for the next 19 years. I finally retired last year, with much trepidation. I have had my three strikes in the health department-two rounds of breast cancer, and a heart attack with open heart surgery-so I am very aware of each day of the rest of my life. My family is my support system, and mean the world to me. Friends from South are still friends today, which makes them true treasures.
