About Me	At SMS I was in choir, swim team, yearbook, poetry journal, and was terribly shy. I was the tall girl with good grades (and DAR Good Citizen award) when it wasn't so cool... I went to Ottawa University where I had room to spread out and grow. I married, got a cool internship in Indianapolis and found out I was expecting our first on Friday before I showed up to work on Monday. That began an "identity" of pushing the norms and being the "first to --- " in our denomination. Those two years taught me to embrace leadership and to take advantages of opportunities that would come along the rest of my ministry. My Master of Divinity is from Emory University, Atlanta. after two additional children and a difficult divorce, the kids and I left GA (not yet ready for women in ministry) and I served in Iowa, Kansas, Indiana, and for my last 20 years as Executive Regional Minister in Arkansas/Louisiana/Mississippi. I returned home after retirement and am taking care of my parents full time, the third house into MO from state line across from the Leawood HYVEE that closed. Its still strange to live in MO.
