Greetings Shaw HS Class of '69 Cardinals and friends:
It's our "BIG 50" and the date is rapidly approaching! The planning committee is working hard to make this a memorable occasion. Please join us at one or all of the following events:
MEET AND GREET AT BUFFALO WILD WINGS 9566 DIAMOND CENRE DR MENTOR OHI 44060 -- THURSDAY JULY 4TH 6 PM-11 PM. – CASH BAR
BANQUET AT LA MALFA PARTY CENTER, 5783 HEISLEY RD, MENTOR, OH 44060 FRIDAY, JULY 5TH 5 PM – 11PM. Cocktail Hour: 5:00-6:00 p.m. Dinner: 6:00-7:45 p.m. Cost $75.00 per person or $140.00 with a guest. PLEASE NOTE: La Malfa’s policy – only pre-registered banquet guests allowed on night of event. No walk-ins.

PICNIC AT THE EUCLID BEACH METROPARK SHELTER, 6301 Lakeshore Blvd, Cleveland OH. SATURDAY, JULY 6TH 12 PM – 5 PM. Hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, paper goods, utensils, condiments will be supplied. We ask that you bring a side dish to share.
THE BANQUET REGISTRATION DEADLINE OF JUNE 1, 2019, IS QUICKLY APPROACHING. La Malfa does not allow walk-ins at the banquet. We are asking that you return your reservation form and payment as soon as possible. If you did not receive this information via USPS, please let me know asap.
Hotel accommodations are at the Wingate Hotel, which is connected to the La Malfa Party Center and Conference facility. The most recent update from the hotel indicates that they are near or at capacity for the weekend. Rooms reserved under Shaw 50th Reunion are: standard queens and kings (includes mini refrig and microwave) at $109.00 plus tax per night. Also executive queens and kings (includes kitchenette and sitting area) at $129.00 plus tax per night. To make hotel reservations, call (440) 357-0384 and ask for Shaw 50th Reunion block prices.

The reunion is open to all who attended EC Schools and graduated in 1969 from SHAW or ELSEWHERE. We are also inviting those who graduated in 1967, 1968 or 1970. We are looking forward to reconnecting with you.

Deadline to make reservations is June 16, 2019 However, we URGE those of you who will need a hotel to make your reservations as soon as possible. Ten rooms have already been reserved. We just found out that there is a wedding party and family reunion also booked at our hotel and a large baseball tournament the same weekend and most of the hotels have stated that rooms are quickly being reserved..
