From 3rd grade on, we were the best of friends. Whenever dinner time was close we always set an extra place setting because we knew Dan was just around the corner. On many occurrences Dan commented that he felt that our family was more of a family for him than his own. The hundreds of sleepovers we had, he was always included. The many trips to Surfside where Dan was as red as a lobster. We had a lot of great times together. I still, to this day, miss him.
