About	Mr. Michael “Big Mike” Lamar Lowrey, age 67, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020. He was born March 24, 1953 in Birmingham, Alabama to James Lamar Lowrey and Jeanene Glasgow Lowrey. Mr. Lowrey was a resident of Freeport, Florida. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He worked as a manager in the Lumber industry for many years, having worked at Freeport Lumber Company and Builders First Source. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family. Mr. Lowrey was preceded in death by his father and mother. Mr. Lowrey is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Glory Lowrey of Freeport, Florida; his step-daughter Brandy Strickland and husband Aaron of Freeport; two brothers, Mitchell Lowrey and wife Deanna of Mississippi, and Jon Lowrey and wife Lynn of Germany; his sister, Dr. Jan Gutierrez and husband Dr. Javier Gutierrez of Colorado; and two grandchildren, Sean Quincy Brown and Sawyer Blue Padgett. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
