Dec. 5, 1953 - Jan. 6, 2015 age 61 of Hoover, Ronald Charles Keydoszius passed away on January 6 surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Shirley Keydoszius. He is survived by his daughter, Rachel, brother, Dick Keydoszius (Carol), sister Joyce Mackey (Gary), nieces, Stephanie Watson and Renee Keydoszius Byrd, nephew, Marc Keydoszius, and his best friend, David Walker. Earlier in life, Ronald enjoyed hunting and music. He graduated from Trinidad State in CO and was a talented gunsmith. Although Ronald battled mental illness throughout his adult life, he had a kind and gentle spirit. The love and beauty in his heart shined through his beautiful, soulful blue eyes. His family would like to personally thank the UAB React Team for the years of care they provided on a daily basis that helped Ronald's quality of life beyond measure. They also want to extend their gratitude to the Palliative Care Team at UAB and Optum Hospice. Ronald will be especially missed by his best buddy, caretaker and right hand girl, his sister Joyce, as well as his brother-in-law, Gary, and friend, David, who have tirelessly been by his side throughout this journey. The tribute and celebration of Ronald's life will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015, at 11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
