About	Clyde passed after five year battle with throat cancer while living in Syracuse Utah. He is survived by his wife, Karen LaRue Sume, ( whom he married twice ) his daughter Carla Castaing, his son Tim and his sister Laura Grimes.
Events	per his wish, his ashes were scattered in Resurrection Bay. His love of Alaska continued through out his life, with frequent visits there.
