I was born in Chicago having graduated from Pierce Grammar and Senn High Schools in 1952 and 1955. I managed to get four-AAS degrees, one BA degree, one BS degree, and a MA degree. My Military Service was from October 1955 through August 1983. My Civil service, with NAVFAC and COE was from February 1984 through December 2001. I was in two Branches of the Military; Army and Air Force. My Army time was from October 1955 through October 1958 and my Air Force time was from October 1958 to August 1983. During my 46 years of government service I earned the following Military Medals and Ribbons: Meritorious Service, Joint Service Commendation, AF Commendation, AF Good Conduct, Army Good Conduct, Nation Defense, Vietnam Campaign, Armed Forces Expeditionary, Armed Forces Expeditionary, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, Air Force Outstanding Unit, Air Force Overseas, Small Arms Marksmanship, NCO Professional Military Education, and Air Force Longevity and the Commanders Civilian Outstanding Service Award.

Whitney M Bray

Air Force, 15 Years
My father served in the Candaian Royal Air Force from about 1940 to 1942 and then he transferred to US Army Air Corps. He was a B -17 pilot in the European Thater and spent almost two years in a German POW camp. He died at almost age 92 on Juky 1 2012.
