Worked for many years as a trial attorney with the Department of Justice (Organized Crime and Racketeering Section) and then as Chief of the Criminal Division in the US Attorney's office (SF); taught at Stanford and UC Berkeley; partner at a law firm in SF where I chair the firms white collar practice group; Married with 3 children; 5 grandchildren.
