Kurt served in a variety of capacities as an aircraft armament technician and intelligence analyst culminating his career as Superintendent of the 57th Adversary Tactics Group at Nellis AFB, NV. He was stationed 11 years in the United States and 14 years in Europe and retired in 2006 at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E-9).

Our Santiago High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Santiago High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Garden Grove are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
