Joined Aug 20, 2003 as a 63B(light wheeled vehicle mechanic) . Assigned to 3rd ID(M), 123rd Signal Battalion, Alpha company. Reassigned to HHC 4-3 BSTS(Brigade Special Troops Battalion). 2 deployments to Iraq totaling 27 months over seas duty. First deployment was in support of battalion maintenance operations in Baghdad's "Green Zone" from Feb. 2005-Feb. 2006. Second Deployment was in support of Battalion operations south of Baghdad, but reassigned to support EOD(Explosive Ordnance Disposal) escort team formed from the company Chemical Recon Platoon while still staging in Kuwait, with responsibilities of lead truck driver, maintenance on 10 vehicles and 3 other pieces of equipment, and truck modifications, along with chemical training for direct support of possible chemical missions, Oct. 2007-Apr. 2009
