| About Me | Since school I have played guitar and studied music in a variety of settings: continued guitar studies with renowned Jazz guitarist Bob Conti, as well as classical composition with Pulitzer nominated composer Joe Burt. Then joined the U.S. Navy band – played all over the world for several years (on your tax dollars) and ended up in Seattle, Washington, where I got out of the service (after 6 years). I played locally some on the Seattle scene before coming back to J-ville where I played with such groups as Teddy Washington (of James Brown fame) and the Bush Doctors (with John Waters – a GREAT local band – check ‘em out!), then I did a five year stint on cruise ships playing everywhere under the sun, but eventually ending up in Hawaii where I met my current wife (from Croatia) and moved to the Boulder, Colorado area. Since then I have built up my own production studio and am concentrating on producing music for various formats, including film and other multimedia projects – check out my site @ (mediasounds.net) But this has been no more than a useless distraction form the pain I have experienced as I looked back with great regret that I didn't skip enough school and as such didn't have the Frisbee chops that I might have had otherwise (excuse me – I’m getting emotional). When I think of the many times that I stayed in class (whether it was with Ms. Shearer in Logic class or Mr. Ogilvie in Jazz Band) when I could have been at the beach, throwing the Frisbee, I shudder.
