" Through His Amazing Grace, God Gave Me You."- author Elizabeth Adams I have always known that God has a special plan for my life!I've travel many roads,some not always the best,but thats living, and learning.life is not always a box of chocolates.I was a model for many years ( Mrs Eunice Johnson ofJohnson and Johnson,Ebony/ JET chose me personally).I did TV, print, and some ruway. won a few Pagents( Beauty, writing)not boasting by no means,just sharing my path! I went to school for theater, was chosen most likely to succeed ( well ,maybe a little boast!:) ) out of 850 students, by teachers and students. I put my acting on hold to open up a resturant with my husband, the first african -american owned resturant downtown .we were there for 10 years,we were chosen twice to catered the superbowl in miami for 10,000 vip's. was featured in Jet magazine with hall of famer running back, Gayle sayers serving up my award winning chilli and cornbread ( Judge by CHEF TEL).Comedian George Wallace hung out with us, and enjoyed it as well! We were also featured in Black Enterprise magazine, and all the local newspapers around the city.(My God! I did all of this!! ok,my head can still fit through the door! lol). Celebrites,politictions, and locals graze our eatery! At first it wasn't always glamour, let me tell ya thats a book in its self! let me go a little farther... box office hit !! the many struggles that we went through, we ended up being homeless, carless, we even sold my wedding ring ( my did that hurt!) just to keep the doors open. you wouldn't known from looking from the outside in, but we went through pure hell always trying to prove that we belong, and we are americans,just trying to live out our dream...I recieved a letter from The White House, President Bill Clinton, Giving Us Beautiful Words Of Encouragement!!!:) Our good friend of many, many years always said that he admired us, well let me tell you talk about the tables turning,they made a MOVIE about HIM! He's Coach Carter!! We are so proud of him, and what he did for those KIDS and STANDS for!!! we have a handsome son, now we live in atlanta .I started back into my theater... I was a extra in quite a few movies so far... and will also now concentrate on my writing.I will keep you posted! "This is my dream ...This is my passion ...This is my Path." (Updates ...Film-Tyler Perry's I Can Be Bad All By My Self, Why Did I Get Married 2 ,The Preachers Kid, The Blindside with Sandra Bullock, TV- Drop Dead Diva, The Mo'Nique show, BET "Pay IT Off" Game show Hosted By Kim Coles, The Monica Show "Still Standing",Vampire Diaries, Franklin and Bash, Tyler Perry's " FOR COLORED GIRLS" and Denzel Washington " FLIGHT" ) Was featured in author Julie Comeau amazing Book " NEVER GIVE UP" My hope, My heart desire, is to get a speaking role soon, and a book out about these heartfelt, inspirational experiences that happen in my life...Stay Tune!!!:) This is one of many poems that I have written.
