| About Me | I went off to UC Davis and in the midst of completing my BS, married my husband, Bill, in 1980. After completing my degree, and being eager to earn some good money, bolted from school and worked in clinical practice in Nutrition, and wrote a few books with my dear friend and colleague, Claudia Bays, We taught around the country in graduate education in the field of health and wellness, then I landed at home fulltime when our second child was born in the early 90's. At that point I decided to focus on accompanying my children in life while Bill built our business, and have primarily devoted my time and energy to developing charitable programs and things related to the children's schools, to our church and to the local community. For a year I worked as a contractor with the State of California developing and managing a large grant project, and found that a very challenging and creative pursuit (private sector gal interfacing with the public sector). Over the years I have been able to persue the arts more, and now my design talents are something that I share with groups, designing large events and spaces, creating artwork, and teaching design related workshops.
