| About Me | I got married had my two sons, then moved to Gatesville in 1973, and had my daughter in 1976. I worked in a nursing home for a while, but then became a stay at home mom until my daughter turned four. I became a bartender for a few years, then I got divorced in 1982, and in February of 1983 remarried to my present husband and had two sons with him. Then I bartended for a little while again, then in 1986 went to work on a live fire range on Fort Hood. Worked there for about four years, then my husband and I bought the taxi cab business here in Gatesville which we ran for about five years. I went to work at Walmart for 18 months then went to work at the prison here in Gatesville. Worked there for seven years and quit (too much politics, stress from higher rank, etc.), then went to work at H.E.B. grocery store for about eight months, then went to work at the county Sheriff's department as a jailer for about two years. Then went to work at Graves Florist for four years, then went to work at a daycare. Didn't care for the way they did things with the new director, so I started keeping kids here at home. I keep my six month old grandson, fourteen month old twin girls, a two year old, and then after school I have my three granddaughters and an eleven year old and her eight year old brother.
