This is a picture of my husband Jon and I at my graduation from the Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Academy in Sept 2008. I joined the Air Force Reserve on 21 April 1986 and have never looked back. I have 23 years and counting. I live on our farm in Sandy with my husband, 3 dogs, 11 horses and 1 cat. My Job is Combat Arms Functional Manager (3P091). I am currently assigned to HQ Air Force Reserve Command, Robins AFB, GA. I travel from home all over the US inspecting Air Force Reserve Security Forces units, as a member of the Inspector General (IG) team, to ensure they are doing their job to Air Force Standards. I currently hold the rank of E-8, Senior Master Sergeant.

In the Navy Reserve, I served in several submarine maintenance units until completing my engineering degree and I was commissioned an Ensign in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps in 2001. The high-point of my career was serving with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Eighteen, during which time I deployed to Iraq in 2006-2007 as their Assistant Operations Officer (S3A). I retired as a Lieutenant in 2009 after 22 years of service. In this photo, I am standing on Haditha Dam on the Euphrates River above Lake Qadisiyah.

I joined the military in September of 2005. Went to Ft. Jackson, South Carolina for basic training in March of 2006. Came home from basic training and AIT in August of 2006. Drilled with my unit (41st PSC) in Salem one weekend a month until they disbanded in June of 2008. I'm currently drilling one weekend a month with the 82nd Support Detachment (ROC) (TSC) in Lake Oswego. I also work for my unit durring the week as a Supply Tech. I love what I do. I hav not been deployed yet but when and if the time comes I'm ready to do what I have to do!

Joined the Army directly after graduating SBHS. I was stationed with 1/40th FA (Field Artillery) in Germany for the next five years. I then switched MOS' (job title) and returned to Oklahoma for training and BNCOC School. After that I received orders to return to Germany and was stationed with 1/32nd FA for another 4 years. I remained in Germany for another 5 years before returning to the US.
