My name is Melayeh McGary and I recently graduated from Salmen High School. I was in student council and was the only majorette my senior year. I have earned certifications during my years here at Salmen. I was in the band my freshman year, and the only majorette my senior year. I've participated in football games and marched in parades. I was very committed to being in the band but had to quit because band just wasn't my thing anymore. I was a majorette and I was extremely committed. I will practice for hours in the heat, cold, sleet, snow, and rain sometimes. I really love it and I miss marching in parades.
