Class Gathering
A social gathering and Pizza Party are planned for Friday, June 23, 2017 @ American Legion Hall in Saline. We will start with a Social hour @ 6 PM & Pizza/Salad/Dessert @ 7PM.
Alumni Banquet
Saturday, June 24, 2017 is the Alumni Banquet at our old HS now called Liberty School. This starts @5:30 PM with Social hour & Dinner at 6:30 PM.
We are hoping for a good turnout this year because our class will be honored at the banquet. A bonus is seeing those from other classes (friends, neighbors, teachers) that you knew ‘way back then’.
Alumni Scholarship
It is tradition that the 50th year class donate to the Saline Alumni Scholarship Fund. The Class of '65 gave $1965 and the Class of '66 gave $1966 plus some extra they donated to the Blaess School which has a program that lets elementary students experience country school life. So, the challenge is on! We would like to keep with tradition and donate $1967 from our class. But, of course, it is a donation and the association will be happy with any amount given. We will be presenting our donation to the Alumni Association at the banquet.
After the banquet (which is usually finished around 8:30ish), we will meet @ Maplewood Lanes Inc., 830 Woodlands Dr., Saline.
(Maplewood Lanes welcomes us. You don't have to bowl. It was a place big enough for us to mingle. Drinks or snacks available for purchase.)
Picnic @ Millpond Park - 11 AM
Bring a dish to pass. We will supply tableware. If anyone can bring a cornhole game or other yard game, we could get some activities going.

The plans are in place for our 40th Reunion the weekend of June 27th - 29th. On Friday the 27th we are planning an informal get-together at the Saline American Legion at 320 W. Michigan Ave. for drinks and conversation in the lounge from 7:00pm - ?. The Main Event is planned for Saturday the 28th. Jeff and Mel Scott will again be hosting a Cookout/ Potluck with Head Chef John Estes cooking the meat. Cost will be $10 per person to cover the meat, table service, etc. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to pass and their beverage of choice. Festivities will begin at 3:00 with dinner planned for 5:00. Jeff and Mel's address is 9537 Waters Rd. Ann Arbor, MI 48103, approximately 1 mile west of Parker Rd. Their phone # is 734-662-3316. On Sunday we may pick an area restaurant to meet for a Breakfast/Brunch depending upon interest. We are hoping for a great turnout for this year's reunion. Please RSVP to me via email no later than June 14th. To help in planning, please let me know if you will be joining us on Friday night at the Legion and/or if you are interested in Sunday brunch. For anyone needing accommodations for the weekend the Scott's have recommended the Holiday Inn or Comfort Inn in Chelsea.
