Mike graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1972, and spent a lifelong career with the Internal Revenue Service. He lived in Castle Rock, CO. He is survived by two sons, Michael (Erin), Matthew (Talon), one grand daughter (Lilly), all of Castle Rock, CO, two sisters, Kathy Stefanski (Class of 1969) of Sedalia, CO and Margaret Rivers-Lock (Class of 1971) of San Antonio, TX. His wife Maureen (nee Crosby) predeceased him in October 2022. His sister Carole (Class of 1978) passed away in June 2019. Mike enjoyed bowling, model trains, watching NFL football and NHL hockey, doing remodeling and odd jobs at home and for others, Colorado craft beers, single malt Scotch and dining out. He loved Hawaii, and he and Maureen vacationed there annually. He also enjoyed visiting the Smithsonian Museum whenever he was in Washington, and debating current affairs and politics.
