Air Force, 20+ Years

Initially enlisted in Air Force for 4 years as a medic in 1971. Then served for 8.5 years in Army Reserves while getting bachelors degree in nursing and some experience. Then was commissioned in the Air Force in 1989 as a registered nurse. Retired in 2005 after 16 years as a major with a total of 28.5 years of service. Works now as a nursing faculty member for a subsidiary of DeVry University.

Fort Carson, Colorado 2002-2005.
Overseas Deployment: Initial Invasion Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom (Feb 2003- Feb 2004) with 101st Airborne Division in Mosul, Iraq.
