Bill Hastings

Class of 1969

Graduated from Foothill High in Bakersfield, CA. In the year 1968, my dad decided we had to move far away from Seattle and the U-district, because my year end grade average at RHS was 1.8!! In the next year, in Bakersfield, my grade average jumped to 3.2! This supported my parents' plan to get me into college. During that year, only one college sent a recruiter to Foothill, but he got me started on my path to Pacific Lutheran University. The rest is simple.
