About	Jovonne graduated from Roosevelt High in 1978. She has an adult son Jonathon Settle. She remained unmarried and enjoyed an independent lifestyle. To our heartbreak, Jovonne lost her battle with cancer and passed away on April 8, 2023. Jovonne recalled her high school years at Roosevelt with such vividness and her friendships ranged from regular classmates to those who participated in sports and band. She loved being a part of the Folklórico dance troop and her love of Latin music only grew with time. She grew up and lived in SE Fresno near Ventura St. Jovonne was a skillful hairdresser by trade and this remained her career for many years. She was a smart, positive, happy, and compassionate person. Beloved by her many clients who remained loyal friends throughout the years. Her siblings also attended RHS; they are Donald Perrin, Delberta (Perrin) Tucker, and Charlie Hume. Jovonne is deeply missed; she enriched the lives of many people (including family whom she deeply loved) and she'll always remain in our hearts.
