Navy, 4 Years
Left Roberts Oct. 1957 for boot camp in Bainbridge, Md.. Then to Jacksonville, Fla for 3 months of NATTC training with the the USMC. Landed at Pensacola, Fla for another 3 months of Photography A school. My first duty station was the Philadelphia, Pa.Receiving Center for 2 years. My last year of service was spent at NAS Moffett Field in Ca.. Spent 4 years playing basketball, softball, & volleyball for the Navy teams at Jacksonville, Philadelphia, & Moffett Field. Was a member of 3 All Navy teams, having won 2nd place in softball twice & 4th place in basketball once.
