Navy, 20+ Years
Member of the Navy Dental Corps from July 1980 - September 2007. Retired at the rank of CAPTAIN (06). Served in various posititions including Pediatric Dental Consultant to the Command of Naval Forces Europe, Philippines, Japan and Marine Forces Pacific, Pediatric Dentistry Consultant for the Navy Dental Corps, Conscious Sedation Consultant in Pediatric Dentistry for the Navy Medical Department, and deployed in support of Operations in the Balkans (1994), Desert Storm (1990-1991), Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Retired 1 September 2007.

Army, 20 Years
Retired from the Army on 31 Dec 2000. Made it all the way from a PFC to a Warrant Officer 3. I joined the Army after I had a judge say to me, "Son, you have two choices. You can join the Military or go to jail." I chose the latter.
I spent 3 years in the medical field and 17 years in Military Intelligence. I was an Interrogator becoming a Warrant Officer on Jun 1990. I later became one of 3 Interrogators who was qualified a an Counterintelligence Officer.

Michelle is an oustanding, dedicated, devoted soldier in the Army. She is a proud soldier who has earned awards for excellence and medals that rival her superior officers. She has deployed to Iraq on two full missions and would readily go again if they call. We are all so proud of her.

Rocky graduated from San Jose State University and was commissioned through the Air Force ROTC program in 1975. He served as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer for 22 years. His first duty assigment was to 96th Organizational Maintenance Squadron at Dyess AFB in Abilene, Texas. The next assignment was to a German Air Force base in Bavaria for three years. The next duty location was with the Air Force Institute of Technology at American Airlines in Tulsa, Oaklahoma. A year later Rocky was reassigned to the McClellan AFB aircraft repair depot in Sacramento, California. Two years later he as transferred to the aircraft instrument depot at Newark AFB, Ohio. While in Ohio, Rocky completed his Master's Degree and his wife Mary Ellen received her Bachelor's Degree from Ohio State University. The next assignment was with NATO in Naples, Italy where he evaluated the combat capabilities of Southern Region U.S. and allied Air Force units assigned to NATO . later, Rocky returned to Dyess AFB and became the last Squadron Commander of his first duty assignment. After the reorganization, he served as the 96th Maintenance Squadron Commander. The next assignment was as a Staff Officer for two years at Headquarters 8th Air Force at Barksdale AFB, Louisana. His last assigment was as the Deputy Logistics Group Commander at Minot AFB, North Dakota. Rocky retired in 1997 as a Lieutenant Colonel and curently resides in Chico, California.
