Ricky passed away May 25, 2023, and lived in Montgomery, Alabama. Although our names were spelled the same, we were not related. The name similarity did cause us to have a friend connection. I knew Ricky as a gentle, friendly, and kind guy, with a great sense of humor! Some referred to him as a gentle giant. He was tall, and his personality was big. As far as I know, he was kind to and liked by all he knew. I do not live in Montgomery, and have not for decades. We did not maintain a friendship after high school, but I was very sad to recently learn of his passing. May his family know that he was liked and admired. Reola D.
