About Me	I married Lt Bernard J. Smith in 1970 and for 30 years and nine commands later move many times, living in Japan on two different tours until Bernie's retirement in2000. Bernie had nine commands including an aircraft carrier and a battle group. We have tree children-Theresa, Adam, and Cara. Theresa is married and living in RI. Adam is married and has a two year old daughter and lives in Las Vegas and Cara who is single and lives in Alexandria,Virgina. Throughout Bernie's Naval career, I have enjoyed our children, teaching, taking classes, and being a Navy wife. Bernie is retired and volunteers at our church. Life in northern Virginia is good, however I often miss Jacksonville. We were in West palm beach in2008 for Bernie's high school reunion from Palm Beach High School.
