Carol Ann was my cousin, born the same month and year as my sister Diane. Our families were close, and Diane and Carol Ann spent a lot of time together in their early ages, sleepover and such. Her Mom we called Aunt Bonnie spent a lot of time together in her youth growing up near my Dad’s home of his youth in South Georgia, calling him by his nickname DJ. Their family ran an Army/Navy store in Jacksonville after WWII. We loved Carol Ann and I was proud of her teaching music and Piano. I will miss her, but she joins the rest of my family, who have also passed.

Carol Ann was a good friend. We attended school together from junior high school through college. We re-connected 7 years ago when I ran into her in the town of my residence, and discovered she was also residing there. She was a very sweet person with a constant smile and a loving heart. She will be missed, but never forgotten.
