Garbacz, Mark Allan Mark passed away peacefully on the morning of Dec. 19, 2019 at the age of 62 after a courageous battle against cancer. Born Feb. 28, 1957. Mark was a funny, smart, kind and compassionate man who will be missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Sally; sister, Karen. Survived by loving wife of 37 years, Linda; brothers, Jon (Jacqueline), David (Patty); niece, Sara (Alissa); nephews, Ben (Jessica), Rex (Samantha), Max; and many other relatives and friends. Mark was a 1974 graduate of Robbinsdale High School. He attended North Hennepin College and North Hennepin Technical School where he pursued a career in commercial and residential painting. He worked as a painter with his brothers for many years and was a past member of Painters Union Local 386. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, just being out in nature or poolside with family and friends. A special thank you to Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital Hospice for their support and care, especially Mark's nurse Kathy.
